Most Common Questions

What is the best way to burn a candle?

To get the most out of your candle, burn it until the wax pool reaches the edge of the container, usually about 2 to 4 hours. Always trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each use to promote an even burn and prevent soot.

What kind of wax do you use?

I use 100% Soy wax, derived from soybeans, it offers an eco-friendly alternative to paraffin wax, burning cleaner and producing less soot. It burns slower and more evenly, extending the life of candles and enhancing fragrance dispersal. Additionally, soy wax is biodegradable and easy to clean, making it both environmentally friendly and user-friendly.

What kind of wicks do you use?

I use cotton wicks, they are favored for their natural, chemical-free composition, promoting a clean and consistent burn. They offer a steady flame and even heat distribution, enhancing wax melting and fragrance release. Additionally, cotton wicks are somewhat self-trimming, minimizing soot and smoke for a cleaner burning experience. This makes them an environmentally friendly and effective choice for candle enthusiasts.

Can I recycle candle jars?

Absolutely! I encourage recycling the jars. Once your candle is finished, you can clean out the jar with warm soapy water and repurpose it for storage, or as a decorative item. We also offer candle refills for the 13 oz. Moonlit Grande Candle, you can find them here! Refills

Do you offer any fragrance-free options?

Yes, I do offer fragrance-free candles for those who are sensitive to scents or prefer a more natural ambiance without added fragrances. I can custom create them for you if you just get in touch with me by clicking here.

How can I safely extinguish a candle?

The safest way to extinguish a candle is by using a candle snuffer to put out the flame without producing smoke. Avoid blowing on the flame as it can spread hot wax.
